President of Beni Suef University: A research project for the production of bio-fertilizers from agricultural waste won with a financing of 300 thousand pounds

  Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that a research project  in the College of Science  for the production of bio-fertilizers based on agricultural waste has won the  with a financing of 300 thousand pounds, from the Science and Technological Development Fund and the American National Academy

The university president explained that the funding came to complete the second phase of the project, and aims to link research outputs to industry and support applied scientific research, pointing out that the project was chosen from the five best projects at the level of republic, after its inclusion in the (Egypt Innovates) initiative. He pointed out that the project is in line with the national strategy of the state 2030, which aims to encourage organic agriculture and dispense with traditional chemical fertilizers


It is worth noting that Dr. Mansour received today in his office the principal researcher of the project, Dr. Yasser Mahmoud, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Plants and Microbiology, College of Science, in the presence of Dr. Hanan Suleiman, Dean of the College of Science.
