The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Beni Suef University continues to conduct aptitude tests for students enrolled in it, according to the schedule announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ghada Hammoud, Dean of the College, confirmed that emphasis was placed on the application of precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus (Covid 19).
Her Excellency also clarified that the aptitude tests for faculties of tourism and hotels aim to test the student's abilities in the specialization, explaining that the test measures the student's readiness to join the field of tourism. The aptitude tests include three main areas:
1- Language test: The student chooses between French, English and German, according to what he studied from the first language in high school. Language questions vary between history, geography, tourism and tourist guidance, as well as general topics.
2- General information test: It includes questions related to the general culture of the country, such as public and Arab figures, tourism and the world, and some simple questions in the field of sports, literature and the arts.
3- Behavior test: It includes a set of questions related to the types and skills of communication and methods of effectively communicating the message, in addition to questions about etiquette, protocol, behavior and public morals that individuals should deal with in society.
Her Excellency the Dean also added that the conditions for success are that the student obtain 60% of the total test scores, wishing all the success and excellence to our students.
