Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan / President of Beni Suef University, Prof. Dr. Magdy Abdel-Alim / Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Prof. Dr. Nahla Mohamed Helmy / Supervisor of the Hotel Management Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Moawad / Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mahab Al-Bishbishi, Lecturer in the Department of Tourism Studies, and a number of members of the faculty's auxiliary staff, and within the framework of the field visits plan for the Hotel Management Department, which aims to develop the knowledge of the department's students of the most important operating mechanisms in hotel facilities and develop their skills and competencies in line with the needs of the tourism and hotel labor market On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the Faculty of Hotel Management Department organized a scientific visit to the Pharaonic ships in Giza Governorate, where the Pharaonic ships team, led by Dr. Abdel-Masih Jaber Wassef, General Manager of the Pharaonic ships, received the students and welcomed the delegation of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels. An educational session was held for 35 male and female students to learn about the basics of service and hospitality in restaurants. After that, 10 students who completed the summer training at the Nile Pharaoh floating restaurant during the summer of 2024 were honored and certificates were distributed to the students. Dr. Abdel-Masih Jaber praised the importance of practical training for students in hospitality facilities, which contributes greatly to creating job opportunities for graduates
