Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Beni Suef University, participates in the meeting of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities with the deans of the faculties of tourism and hotels across the country

Prof. Dr. Magdy Abdel-Alim, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Beni Suef University, participated in the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities' forum with the deans of government, private and national tourism and hotel faculties across the country to discuss the development of education and training systems and ensure the compatibility and integration of their outputs with the needs and requirements of the labor market in the tourism sector in Egypt. This meeting is a new initiative, the first of its kind. Representatives of the Supreme Council of Universities also participated in the forum, in the presence of representatives of the private tourism sector represented by the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers and the specialized tourism chambers.


The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized this meeting in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to discuss ways to develop education and training systems for students of tourism and hotel faculties in a way that ensures the compatibility and integration of education outcomes with the needs and requirements of the current and future labor market in the tourism sector in Egypt. Also , to discuss mechanisms for linking academic and theoretical education with training and practical experience in a way that improves the skills of graduates, which is positively reflected in the development and raising the efficiency of the human element within the sector.
